Brewed and then aged in bourbon barrels for between eight to twelve months, Bourbon County Brand
Stout was first created in honour of the 1000th batch of Goose Island’s original Clybourn Brewpub in
Chicago. One sip has more flavour than your average case of beer.
Goose Island brewers say that the bourbon barrels give the dark beer charred oak and vanilla scents,
with notes of chocolate, caramel and a hint of smoke.
