Imperial Stout aged for 15 months in 200-litre American oak barrels from Kentucky, USA. This is the first use of these barrels in Basqueland. Before filling them with beer they were used for more than 4 years to mature bourbon. The beer, of course, has a strong bourbon aroma that emanates intensely as soon as your nose closes in. On the palate, in addition to the bourbon, wood, cocoa, walnut, liquorice and caramel complement each other with a rounded result that allows you to taste the passage of time in each sip.
