Brick Brewery - "Extra pale malt is blended with Munich, Vienna and a splash of Crystal malt to produce a light golden colour. Columbus hops are used for bittering and Simcoe, Equinox, Cascade and Mosaic are added progressively throughout the boil with a good wedge added at the hop-stand phase. The hops add fruit, floral notes typical of a North American style pale ale. Clean US05 yeast is used to allow the hops to shine through."
We have a 'Crowler' (canning) machine! That means that whatever we have on tap we can pour fresh into a 500ml can.
We flush the can with cellar gas to maximise freshness of the beer then fill straight from the taps here before sealing at the crowler station.
Cans are filled to order, not in advance!
Although we gas flush the can before filling (just as on a full scale canning line) which will keep the beer fresh, we recommend drinking beer from our crowler station within 5 days of purchase.
