They've made it gluten free! This Helles Lager has been brewed using 100% German malts and 100% German hops. Fermented slowly at a low temperature so that the yeast leaves a neutral flavour, giving the German malts and hops to shine through. Expect a soft bready backbone with a touch of sweetness, followed by floral notes and a subtle hint of spice. Electric Bear add an enzyme to the beer in the fermentation stage that strips away the gluten. The beer is then sent away to an independant company for gluten tests with the result being under 20ppm. We are then able to add the gluten free logo to our can label so they are certified gluten free, but will certainly not disappoint with taste.
