Ginger Beer is one of the original carbonated drinks, created to stimulate the palate. Our recipe was THE very first we made in our own kitchen, to sell at local farmers' markets, and we’re still very proud of its natural heat and rich, well-rounded flavour.
We press root ginger for a bright, clean taste and steep what’s left to release the natural spicy flavours. Then we add freshly squeezed lemon juice, and blend with four different types of dark and light sugars to give a complex and unique flavour. It's still got less sugar than most of it's kind!
