St Bernardus are a Belgian brewery, producing Trappist style beers in all but name (to be labeled Trappist the beer must be made in a monestary). Using the famed St Sixtus yeast strain, they're able to produce outstanding beers that are the best Trappist style beers in the world. They even brewed the famous beers of Westvleteren under licence for the 60 years leading up to the mid 90's, so it's safe to say they know a thing or two about brewing this beer style.
