Ray's Strong American Stout Session -- Tuesday 1st April -- Ghost Whale Brixton

Between my last couple visits stateside and sending my family members to various taprooms for bottle collections, I've been slowly piecing together a collection of absolutely mega Imperial Stouts from some of America's finest producers.

 It's been quite the chore to keep myself from busting these out at bottle shares and staff parties, but that resilience has paid off, as I think the time has finally come to host an intimate tasting in which we dive into this absolutely behemoth list of beers!

Given the hefty cost of travel and price of the beer itself, this is a cost price event, meaning we are making no profit from this event. We are hosting this because we are super excited about these beers, are keen to share them, and think it will be good fun.

Sante Adairius - 'Bedside Manner' [4.44 on UnTappd]: 15% Double Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout.

The Bruery - 'Black Tuesday (2014)' [4.58 on UnTappd] - 19.7% Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout.

Smog City x Moonlight Meadery - 'Buzzworthy (2021)' [4.09 on UnTappd]: 12.9% Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout brewed with over 500 pounds of rare Meadowfoam honey.

Pure Project - 'Dizzy Midnight' [4.28 on UnTappd]: 13.2% Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout infused with maple syrup and Honduras-grown coffee.

North Park x Horus x Toppling Goliath - 'The Falcon Slayer' [4.31 on UnTappd]: 15% Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout conditioned on vanilla beans from Comoros, Congo, and Papa New Guinea.

Monkish - 'Little Twin Stars (2024)' [4.49 on UnTappd]: 13% Imperial Stout conditioned on absolutely loads of coconut and Ghanaian cacao nibs. 

everywhere - 'here we go again' [4.34 on UnTappd]: 11.5% holiday Imperial Stout conditioned on coffee, marshmallows, Tahitian vanilla beans, cacao nibs, and cacao powder.

ISM Brewing - 'Leaviathan Breath aged on Cacao Nibs And Vanilla' [4.33 on UnTappd]: 11.5% Imperial Stout aged on Ugandan cacao nibs and Tahitian vanilla beans, that was only made available to purchase in person at their brewery. 

There is a limited amount of beer and therefore limited tickets for this exclusive event. 

Each beer, in both bottle and can, will each be split 6 ways, ensuring everyone gets a healthy serving of each beer. 

Only 1 ticket can be purchased per person.
