Augustinian monks founded their monastery just outside of Münich in the year 1294, and a brewery was built shortly after. One of the oldest breweries we now stock, it is widely believed that Augustiner has been brewing since around 1328, which is when it was first seen mentioned. Today, they are a Ghost Whale house favourite, and their 'Lagerbier Hell' is one of our standout best sellers. A brewery that can do no wrong in our eyes.
