Denmark's Mikkeller are true pioneers and titans of craft beer in Europe. Owner Mikkel's boundary pushing approach to making super high quality beer in 2006 was years ahead of its time and Mikkeller quickly grew to dominate the European craft beer market. Their beers (and festivals) brought people together, inspired others to start brewing and ultimately made the world of craft beer more vibrant.
