Tallinn's most prominent brewery Põhjala have been a mainstay in Ghost Whale's fridges since our early days. Whilst they make a huge range of great beer - sessionable Sours, flavourful IPAs, crisp Lagers - it's their Imperial Stouts and barrel aged beers that they're most reveered for. A fridge with Põhjala beer in is a happy fridge indeed.

"A rich porter with smooth honey notes. Brewed with lactose for that extra silky texture. Enjoy on its own or as a dessert at the end of a decadent meal. Contains barley malt and lactose. Taste: As with the aroma, chocolate will come through first and foremost – this time a creamy white chocolate. Balancing this is a suggestion of delicate coffee with a decadent hint of raspberry and blackcurrant."

Pōhjala are a craft brewery from Tallinn in Estonia. They produce incredible beers that cover the full spectrum of styles, from lager and pale ale to sours and Imperial Stouts. At Ghost Whale we're particular fans of their really well priced IPA's and the incredible barrel aged Imperial Stouts.
